Certified Public Accountant

CPA

Skyfish is seeking an experienced CPA who will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing the company’s financial reports. Responsibilities will also include auditing financial reports for compliance and maintaining general accuracy in our accounting operations.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Oversee budget and financial management and prepare financial statements for senior executives and board members
• Working with our Board of Directors, shareholders, potential investors, insurance brokers, attorneys, and other accountants to keep certifications, records, and documents current and organized.
• Analyze transactions and prepare reports
• Participate in strategic planning and budget development
• Analyze profit margins and prepare revenue forecasts
• Conduct periodic audits to guarantee accuracy in financial records, expenses, and savings
• Develop and implement effective accounting policies and processes.

Job Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working as a Certified Public Accountant or in a Senior Accountant position.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another relevant field, in addition to a CPA certification.
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficient in QuickBooks online, QuickBooks desktop, and Microsoft 365 software.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with co-workers, customers, shareholders, board of directors, attorneys, accountants, etc.
• Must be flexible, organized, have the capacity to multi-task.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
